Aviemore, for skiing and snowboarding, is within easy reach.
This is an ideal base for walking, cycling, golfing, fishing and generally touring the Highlands. There are plenty of facilities within close proximity, including an interesting woollen mill with restaurant and numerous other restaurants within a few minutes’ walk.
It also leads on to the Caledonian Canal. Here one can walk right through to the Ness Islands and into the centre of the city. A footpath just a few yards away leads down to the side of the famous River Ness, and the river tumbling over the weir can be heard from the cottage. There are wonderful walks direct from the property. There is also lockable garaging, with light and power by arrangement, for touring motor bikes.īoundary House West lies adjacent to the owner’s home and is ideally located for exploring Inverness and further afield. Outside there is a pretty garden with lawn, flower tubs and a large outdoor dining table and chairs on the decking area a lovely spot to sit and unwind after a day’s sightseeing. There is a second shower room on this floor, making the cottage ideal for two couples or small families. The beds can be pushed together if required and a mattress topper is provided to convert to a super kingsize bed if required. Stairs from the living area lead up to a second bedroom, with 3ft twin beds. Adjoining this is a family sized bathroom.

The kitchen is extremely well equipped, with integral units and an impressive 6-ring gas range with double oven and grill. There is a high quality cream leather sofa and a large solid wood dining table for up to four guests. The main living area is open plan, and is bright and airy, with French doors opening onto a very private fully-fenced garden. Boundary House West is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the Holm Mains area, close to the centre of Inverness.
